just popped this on in the sale - details to follow but its BEAutiful and BIG!
It’s a bit of a floral riot — big pink and red peony blooms with yellow centres take up most of the space, like they’re showing off, while smaller white, blue, and purple flowers crowd around them, trying to keep up. The green leaves thread through everything, giving it that slightly tangled, overgrown feel. A hand tied bouquet by someone not that skilled . Ha ha ! The background’s mostly soft teal/blue, but there’s a big fat vase bottom half  — joyful, layered, and full of movement but spot that quiet little butterfly. 
On a chunky canvas, ready to hang. In the sale only due to its size which I think is 120cm square. Need to check that myself.
Titled so because I asked my friend……are there too many peonies?  She replied…..there’s NEVER too many peonies.
