This little gem was kinda a turning point in my work - there have been various paintings over the years where I can see a real shift and a move forward in my ability and where I want to go - this is one of them. 
 
I really like the colour palette I was working with at this point in time - lemon yellow greens and soft a pink added to the line work in pencil I think it comes across as still narrative but also accomplished. I like it and had it up in the studio for some time to influence me in my next works. I also like it when I'd rather rather hang my own work up rather than another artist, thats a good moment. 
 
30x30cm deep canvas with the chunky white frame, it would just look great on any wall. (also the dog is looking quite sassy in the pink dotted collar!)
